Day Dreamers / RENWICK ALLEY SS 2012

 From Helmet Magazine S/SS2012
Ph: Cara Stricker, Styling: Molly Kennedy, Models: Lindsey Byard, Sharon Kavjian, Rachel Rutt & Hannah Kern

To me , this photoshoot smells like teen spirit. because teen spirit always wander around, always seeking for answers. they be curious about anything. teens depend on each other. I'm 17 years old and i'm still day dreaming. or is reality just a dream ?

“Basically what we have here is a dreamer. Somebody out of touch with reality. When she jumped, she probably thought she'd fly”

stella's garden party

One of the reasons why im jealous of a model's life is they get invited to fun fashion events like these and wear pretty clothes !  This is such a beautiful event full of fresh flowers and fun games. What a good way to showcase a collection , i really really love this since i really have this undying love for pretty fresh flowers + spring. Its obvious that the models there were having fun too. They're either busy playing ping pong , chess , croquet or just enjoying the nice vibe at the party.

dance for stevie

" I ride my bike. I drown out the Chinatown banter with Sonic Youth, The Breeders and Mingus. I water my plants and burn incense. I work, work, work and work! I drink iced tea on Hester St and eat raw goji berries on 1st street. I meet with models. I plan routes across America. I skype a lot and I dream. "
- Stevie talking about her life in new york

I love her writing , it reminds me of mine a bit *blushes* and arent those leather shorts just amaaaaazing.
Although she has left RUSSH but  it was good to hear that she has picked a job as the contributing director for Oyster, at least we can see pages of hers still.
